It's Beginning to Look a Lot like Christmas!

Merry Christmas!  Trevor and I are spending a few days at his parents' house for this holiday weekend.  We're enjoying the relaxation here -- taught hand and foot to everyone, watching movies and sports, and catching up on reading and video games!  The presents are under the lit-up tree, there's a TON of snow outside, and it's less than 12 hours until Christmas!  (Five hours to be more exact.)  Woohoo!

I LOVE CHRISTMAS!!

Our Happenings

Best news: We found a new apartment!  Yay!  We have known for months that we had to move in December, because the City of Logan bought the house that we're living in and they are kicking us out at the end of the year so they can tear the whole place down.  Rumor is they're building a roundabout.  Anyway, looking for an apartment is soo stressful!  Since we don't have internet and at work ksl.com is blocked, Trevor had to look online for places while he was at work or his parents' house (on days he didn't have school).  So we would see postings the next day and the place would already be taken!  Especially the good ones that are cheap.  Anyway, we missed out on a couple apartments and then got the best one!  Cheapest, gas included, nice,  nice landlord people, good location.  Exciting!  We're moving the week of the 16th, don't have to be out of our old place until the 22nd.

Thanksgiving at the parentals was great!  We made Grateful Plates and watched Brave, The Amazing Spiderman, and the Holiday.  We went shopping later on Black Friday and bought a few things, mainly all the Harry Potter movies.  We played games, Hand and Foot, Cribbage.  And we relaxed :)

Otherwise, the heater for Trevor's car doesn't work.  We got a diagnosis and they said the water pump was broken and it would be mega-bucks for them to fix it.  So Trevor ordered a water pump and is going to DIY once school is out.

Trevor got a jury duty summon for the first day of finals, when he has two finals that day and the others the rest of the week.  Luckily, the jury courthouse people are nice and let him off the hook!

At Thanksgiving Mom gave me some flower bulbs to plant.  White something flowers.  Then I ordered a poinsettia from the scouts fundraiser.  It's so nice having flowers around!  Oh, and we bought a small Christmas tree and some ornaments so we could have deocrations!  Woohoo!

Other than that, we have some Holiday parties coming up, we're going to California for a friend's sealing, and Christmas is only 23 days away!  Yay!
